Gibson Performance was founded in 1990 when our own motorhome inspired a search for more power and torque. After countless miles on the road, we realized there wasn’t a performance exhaust system that truly delivered the results we needed. So, instead of settling, we built our own.

With help from the industry’s best engineers and technicians, we began designing and testing exhaust systems that produced real, measurable gains—more horsepower, more torque, better fuel economy, and cooler engine temperatures—without sacrificing reliability or ease of installation. Our mission was simple: create a cost-effective performance exhaust system that delivers more performance per dollar than anything else on the market. As performance upgrades became popular for trucks and SUVs in the early ’90s, customers asked if they could get the same Gibson power and torque for their vehicles—with less cabin noise. That request marked the start of Gibson Performance’s second phase, expanding from RVs to Trucks, SUVs, Marine and Side X Side (UTV) applications.
